Client brief
The client wanted a practical garden designed around outdoor living and entertaining, with generous seating areas and a layout that could comfortably accommodate family and guests. Creating a modern space with clearly defined zones while maintaining an open and connected feel was an important part of the brief.

Design approach
The garden was divided into multiple levels to create structure and visual interest while naturally separating different areas of use. The upper-level patio was designed as the main entertaining space, incorporating a dedicated BBQ and canopy area for dining and social gatherings.

Raised planting beds and retaining walls help define the levels while softening the hard landscaping through structured planting. Each zone was designed to flow naturally into the next so the garden feels connected rather than divided into separate spaces.

The result is a contemporary multi-level garden focused on functionality and outdoor living — creating organised spaces that work together as one cohesive design.
